As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be an integral part of the team building the end-to-end applications that enable our customers to harness the full potential of APA. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop intuitive interfaces, scalable APIs, and backend infrastructure that will allow AI-powered agents and human users to work in harmony. Who you'll report to:

Director of Engineering, AI Agent Studio

Location: 

Hybrid role with regular onsite workdays in our San Jose, CA office strongly preferred.  Other locations in the U.S will be considered.

You will make an impact by being responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and performance-oriented UI components and features using modern front-end technologies like React. Focusing on the consistent delivery of software and systems that move the company towards achieving short and long-term objectives
• Build robust REST APIs, services, and backend infrastructure to support business applications
• Working closely with Product Management, UX, Backend / Frontend Engineers, SDET and Support organizations to deliver industry-leading features to the market. Translate requirements into technical solutions and seamless user experiences
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices in UI and backend development. Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and consistency
• Driving the adoption of new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance development efficiency and UI performance
• Providing technical mentorship to junior engineers and share knowledge across teams to foster a culture of learning and improvement

You will be a great fit if you have: 

• 4+ years of professional experience in Full Stack software development, with a strong portfolio of work
• Proficiency in Core Java, Spring, and Hibernate
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, CDB, Elasticsearch)
• Solid front-end development skills, including React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and SCSS
• Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Webpack) and testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress)
• Ability to build responsive, cross-browser compatible, and accessibility-compliant applications (WCAG standards)
• Strong understanding of Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD), Unit and Integration Testing, and deployment processes
• Experience or familiarity with RPA platforms or automation tools, component library implementation, backend technologies, observability tools, and writing code with the assistance of AI

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving – Skilled in breaking down complex challenges and delivering efficient, scalable solutions
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn – Comfortable adopting new tools, frameworks, and technologies in a fast-evolving tech landscape
• Attention to detail and quality focus – Committed to writing clean, maintainable code and ensuring compliance with performance, accessibility, and design standards
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills with a full-stack mindset

The base salary range for this position is $155,000 - $180,000 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
