We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Web Content Specialist to join our marketing team. This role is responsible for enhancing the user experience and navigation of our website, creating and updating content using SEO best practices, and ensuring our site remains engaging, accurate, and technically sound. The ideal candidate will monitor local SEO performance and heat maps, make data-driven adjustments to the site, and collaborate with IT to resolve technical issues promptly. This position requires a blend of creative content writing, analytical skills, and hands-on website management.
Responsibilities:
· Improve website UX and navigation to ensure a seamless and intuitive experience for visitors.
· Write, edit, and update website content—including product descriptions, landing pages, and blog posts—using SEO best practices to maximize visibility and engagement.
· Monitor local SEO performance and implement changes to boost search rankings in targeted geographic areas.
· Regularly review heat map analytics and user behavior data to identify opportunities for site improvements and optimize content placement.
· Notify IT of technical issues affecting website performance, accessibility, or security, and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
· Execute website changes (content, layout, products) via the CMS and customer portal platform.
· Collaborate with the team to ensure that content aligns with brand standards and supports business objectives.
· Perform technical SEO audits and implement necessary improvements to enhance website performance.
· Stay up to date with the latest SEO/GEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
· Proven experience in website content management, UX optimization, and SEO.
· Proficiency with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), heat map software, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
· Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations.
· Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website development best practices.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with local SEO strategies and tools.
· Knowledge of SEM (Search Engine Marketing).
· Familiarity with technical troubleshooting and IT collaboration.

- Analyze website performance using Google Analytics to inform future content strategies.
- Contribute to B2B marketing efforts through the creation of white papers, case studies, and other relevant materials.
- Participate in video editing projects for promotional purposes and social media engagement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in web content creation and management with a strong portfolio showcasing writing samples.
- Proficiency in SEO techniques, keyword research, and digital marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web design principles is preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for graphic design tasks.
- Strong copywriting skills with an emphasis on editing for clarity and engagement.
- Knowledge of social media management tools and best practices for effective social media marketing.
- Experience with content marketing strategies that drive user engagement and conversions.
- Basic photography skills for creating original visual content may be beneficial.
- Familiarity with videography principles is a plus for creating engaging video content.
