Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations in our fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Manager will play a vital role in fostering a positive work culture while driving business success through effective management practices.

Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
  • Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for cash handling and transaction management.
  • Train and develop staff in food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
  • Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new team members.
  • Implement training programs focused on culinary skills, hospitality management, and team management.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the restaurant's operational needs.

Experience

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong background in quick service or fast food restaurants; fine dining experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability in staff training, development, and performance management.
  • Familiarity with kitchen management practices including food production and catering.
  • Experience with cash handling procedures and POS systems is essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food service management.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
