Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. The CO+I CTO Office's Energy Technology team is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer - Energy Systems. This individual will be expected to be knowledgeable of energy technology alternatives developing across the energy system to support reliability, resiliency, and sustainability in line with Microsoft's business objectives and goals. They will be expected to collaborate with partners within Microsoft and external partners. 

As a Senior Electrical Engineer on the ET team, this individual will play a key role in developing  Microsoft's industry-leading energy technology innovations. This position seeks an electrical engineer who will design, develop, and drive innovation for power and energy systems and related infrastructure, helping to build the cloud datacenters that power the world's largest online services.   

The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in the electrical engineering field. The individual will have hands-on electrical design experience in energy systems and flexible energy technologies. They will also understand the role of energy systems in datacenter system design and have a degree of familiarity with deployment of datacenters.
