What you'll do
- Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring accurate medical documentation.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, enhancing their overall well-being.
- Assist with medical procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Engage in continuous learning about patient care practices and participate in training sessions.
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a state-approved CNA program is required.
- Previous experience in long-term care, acute care, or hospital settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records)
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and HIPAA regulations is essential.
- Experience working with pediatrics is highly valued.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
