Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and bilingual Human Resource Assistant to support our HR team in managing a wide range of human capital functions. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, with a strong background in HR operations, employee relations, and talent management. This role involves assisting with recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and maintaining HRIS systems to ensure smooth workforce management. The Human Resource Assistant will play a vital role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening applicants, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support new hire onboarding: prepare paperwork, coordinate orientation, and ensure all documentation is complete.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, both digital and physical.
  • Help administer employee benefits such as health insurance, PTO tracking, and open enrollment.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying timekeeping information.
  • Assist with HR compliance tasks, ensuring policies meet state and federal guidelines.
  • Coordinate employee training, meetings, and company events.
  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, data entry, scheduling, and document preparation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in HR, office administration, or customer service a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
