In this role, you will contribute to fostering a collaborative, high-performing work environment that reflects our company's values and culture.Job purposeThis position will work in our SIT (Systems Integration Team) department assisting end user support and product development teams and will work in as part of our IT team with ongoing support with initial focus on High Point (North America) and long-term potential to support the remaining Western Hemisphere including Central America, South America and Europe. This member work with our SIT (System Integration Team) to support our various ordering platforms with primary focus towards RFID development. In addition, they will work with our end user support teams of sales, customer service and product development to understand the needs of our customers and the capabilities of our custom-developed software. They will be part of the team that takes our customers' wants into reality on our website. They will work hand in hand with our developers in US, Dominican Republic, Sri Lanka, and Shanghai to accomplish this.Duties and responsibilitiesAttending and contributing to company IT meetings.Support Maxim EMAX systems locally in High Point (potential for future expansion to EU and other global locations)Work with Shanghai SIT teams for updates and to be sure all systems are running correctly.Primary SIT support person for Emax 3 and Emax 5 for users and new setupsWork with local IT to maintain Help Desk for our EMAX systems.Responding to requests from the development team.Gathering information from support team about program functionality.Create new items in Emax system for customer ordering.Maintain Emax Lookup tables to keep front end system in sync with SQL tables.Maintain Excel mapping files to enable customers to order via Excel and keep all fields mapped to SQL correctly.Production Label design, testing and go live in NiceLabel, Label Engine (Product Center) and BartenderWorking with our ERP Specialist for mapping between Emax and ERP to be sure all data is passed correctly between the systems.Collaborate across time zones via WeChat, Zoom, Microsoft teams, and video conference.QualificationsSchoolingDegree in Computer Science /ProgrammingFluent English, Mandarin a plusKnowledge of basic coding languages:C#, Asp.NET Core, Javascript or React), Web API, Security knowledge (Oauth 2.0, OpenId-Connect), Entity Framework Core, Azure Storage (Nice to have)Basic programming experience.Knowledge of databases and operating systems.Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software.Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.Detail-oriented.Working conditions/travelSIT Support Specialist position requires in-office work as the standard. As collaborating with our international colleagues is required, this position may often require remote after-hours work. For these cases, in-office and work from home flexibility is available as agreed to with the Manager.Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
