Physical Therapy aide/Office Assistant.

We are a small clinic in Northeast Portland that values excellent customer service and working closely with our patients.

This position is approximately 15-20 hours per week. Most shifts are 4-6 hours scheduled approximately 4 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday). Shift times fall between clinic opening at 7:45 until closing at 6 pm.

Clinical Aide Duties:

Aide duties include: maintaining a clean clinical environment, laundry, restocking rooms, as well as assisting Physical Therapists as needed.

Administrative Duties:

Administrative duties include: Answering phones, scheduling and confirming patient appointments, verifying insurance benefits and completing prior authorizations, assisting with general front office operations, supporting marketing tasks including social media posts

Qualifications:

· Prior experience is preferred

· Flexible schedule is preferred

Required skills:

· Pleasant phone manner

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Good judgement and decision-making

· Maintain confidentiality

· Effective problem solving and the ability to take initiative

· Time management

· Contribute to marketing strategies and social media posts

· Work independently with minimal supervision

· Ability to relate effectively with patients, guests and general public.

Strong preference will be given to applicants that have an interest in pursuing a post-graduate degree in a health-related field.
