Senior Staff Accountant

Department: Finance & Operations

This position will be moving to the Westlake location in February 2026

Pay Range: $51,200 to $64,000

The Achievement Centers for Children, a Cleveland-based nonprofit, is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. This position supports budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and audit preparation while maintaining compliance with fiscal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and analyses.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.
  • Oversee payroll functions and maintain fixed asset records.
  • Collaborate with leadership on financial planning and special projects.

Qualifications:

  • CPA required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 5+ years of general ledger/accounting experience.
  • Advanced Excel and QuickBooks proficiency.
  • Experience with payroll for 75–150 employees.
