Overview: We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as Mental Health Support Staff, working overnights (11pm-7am) Saturday and Sunday nights.

Successful applicants must pass a Livescan background check.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health disorders.
  • Assist patients with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress.
  • Implement treatment plans under the supervision of licensed professionals.
  • Conduct group therapy sessions and facilitate therapeutic activities.
  • Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health disorders, developmental disabilities, or substance abuse issues.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health principles and techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with children or adolescents in a mental health setting.
  • Familiarity with data collection methods and medical documentation practices.
  • Knowledge of PTSD care and trauma-informed approaches.
  • Understanding of behavior management techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Background in addiction counseling or substance abuse treatment.
