Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Civil Engineer, based in Ellicott City, MD, with opportunities for partial remote work. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing and planning civil engineering projects, including stormwater management and land development initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing project designs, conducting site assessments, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering principles
  • Strong expertise in Planning and Stormwater Management
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other Civil Engineers and interdisciplinary project teams
  • Familiarity with local and federal standards and regulations related to land development
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with design software tools commonly used in civil engineering
