Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our IT team. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include configuring network equipment, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring network security.

Essential Functions:

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performing network solutions using Cisco and Arista equipment.
  • Set up and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Maintain equipment, inventory, IP schema's and network diagrams.
  • Implement security protocols, firewalls, and access controls.
  • Experience implementing STIG's (Security Technical Implementation Guides) on network equipment.
  • Ability to support up to 20% offsite travel.
  • Willing to submit to a CI Polygraph.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI
  • CompTIA Security + CE Certification.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent Arista certifications preferred.
  • Experience with DOD encryption devices.
  • Self-motivated, able to switch tasks easily, and work independently.
  • Experience with the configuration and ability to manage Solarwinds.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
