Inventory Technician

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Break down servers and workstations according to the inventory process.
  • Disburses parts accurately based on sales orders, purchase orders or invoices to production area, shipping area or directly to customers.*
  • Handles all requests for inventory counts and controls and moving inventory when necessary.*
  • Continually maintains accurate and organized inventory and be able to investigate any discrepancies.*
  • Maintains a high knowledge of all inventory parts in order to help create and correct any sales orders or inventory items.*
  • Communicates and coordinates with inventory staff to make sure that priority jobs are completed accurately and effectively.*
  • Pull, Pack, Ship Sales orders.
  • Test, Receive, Stock Purchase orders
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift/team lift/move up to 120 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

This is an entry level position so training will be done on the job.

No previous experience or training required but starting salary may be increased with previous experience in building and troubleshooting servers or PC's, along with previous inventory, help desk, or technician experience.

Hours are 9-5 Monday thru Friday.
