Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Tax Accountant. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and assisting clients with their tax planning needs. Additional responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, preparing accurate accounting records, and providing tailored advice to meet client-specific tax or financial goals. Collaboration with clients and team members is a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Tax Compliance and Tax Preparation
  • Strong understanding of Financial Statements and Accounting practices
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Drake tax software preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred not mandatory
  • Experience in preparing 1040, 1120s, 1120, & 1065 Tax Returns
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in a hybrid remote work environment is a plus
