What you'll do

  • Prepare and cook menu items with precision and attention to detail, ensuring quality and presentation meet our high standards.
  • Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to create a seamless workflow during service, maintaining efficiency and organization.
  • Participate in menu planning, contributing innovative ideas that align with our culinary vision and customer preferences.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling practices at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
  • Assist in catering events as needed, showcasing your versatility in various culinary settings.
  • Utilize your knife skills to prepare ingredients efficiently while minimizing waste.
  • Provide exceptional food service by plating dishes beautifully and ensuring timely delivery to the dining area.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and dietary requirements.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in fine dining establishments or catering services.
  • Background as a dietary aide or within a dietary department is a plus.
  • Familiarity with menu planning and meal preparation processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
