We are seeking a highly Cybersecurity Specialist to support the DoD, Army policies on IT and Cyber for multiple classified/unclassified networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously evaluating and ensuring information is current, relevant and comprehensive for cyber and IT staff.
  • Implementing cyber processes and identifying efficient, effective and compliant process improvements.
  • Perform periodic inspections, audits and assessments of functions and artifacts, remediate findings and notify ISSM.
  • Respond and mitigate security incidents through data collection/containment and event correlation.
  • Investigate and manage incidents, ensure appropriate action and coordinate with IT staff until the incident is closed.
  • Investigate policy and security violations with detailed write ups and remediation recommendations.
  • Review Logs and STIGS

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field
  • IAM II Certification (CAP, CASP+CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP)
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience with ACAS, HBSS, Tanium, eMASS

Required Security Clearance:

  • US Citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret Clearance per contract requirements.

Physical and Mental Qualifications:

  • Be able to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours.
  • Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard)
  • Able to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English language
  • Execute tasks independently and work as a team.
  • Learn and memories routine tasks.
  • Strong organizational, grammar, business correspondence, and self-management skills
