Basic Job Functions:

Assembler will assemble HAC as per the drawings/work instructions entail. The teammate must be able to complete basic tasks to install rails, doors, and side panels. The teammate will be required to use basic hand tools like screwdrivers, rivet gun, insert gun, and pliers. The teammate will be routinely exposed to conditions to include but not limited to debris, fumes, noise, heat, and cold. 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.


• Visually inspects finished parts for defects
• Operate basic hand tools
•  

Minimum Qualifications:


• Supervisor & Manager recommendation


• High School Diploma or GED


• Must know basic computer skills


• Use Basic Hand tools, screwdriver, drills, etc. 

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Work experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment


•Ability to work in a team environment with strong, positive communication skills


• Has the technical ability to look at a whole process, identify the weaknesses, recommend and implement improvements with a team


• Strong communication skills 

Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
