This role is ideal for someone who combines litigation experience with a passion for civil procedure, compliance, and practice support.

You'll work closely with the Managing Attorney to oversee litigation support functions across multiple jurisdictions—with a particular focus on California practice and e-filing systems. As a trusted resource, you'll help ensure firmwide compliance, streamline workflows, and drive efficiency in how our attorneys deliver top-tier client service.

Procedural Expertise – Counsel attorneys, paralegals, and staff on issues arising throughout state and federal litigation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Research & Analysis – Conduct detailed reviews of federal, state, and local rules; perform targeted legal research; and track procedural developments.

E-Filing Management – Handle all aspects of electronic filing, including California's statewide and county-specific systems, as well as federal and appellate courts.

Docket & Deadline Oversight – Support docketing, calendaring, and case management, ensuring deadlines and alerts are accurate and effectively monitored.

Mentorship & Best Practices – Train and mentor attorneys and staff on docketing, case deadlines, and best practices for electronic court filing (ECF).

Strategic Support – Provide timely reporting and workflow insights that strengthen litigation strategy and efficiency.

Risk Mitigation – Review litigation calendars, monitor escalation processes, and contribute to firmwide initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce risk.

Special Projects – Take on additional assignments that further client service, operational excellence, and firm initiatives.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission in California.

7+ years of experience as a litigation associate with a strong knowledge of court rules and procedures across multiple jurisdictions.

Extensive understanding of federal and state litigation practices, including California e-filing.

Skilled in using docket management tools (e.g., CourtAlert, eDockets, CompuLaw), research platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Westlaw, Lexis), and databases (e.g., PACER, LexMachina).

Strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities with the capacity to explain complex rules clearly and confidently.

Proven ability to train, mentor, and build productive relationships with attorneys, staff, and clients.

A solution-driven approach, with responsiveness and professionalism in all interactions.

High-level organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and care.
