POSITION: Program Director

REPORTS TO: Associate Executive Director

REQUIREMENTS: Master's Degree

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Program Director is responsible for the overall management of social services and supervision of the administrative staff, Program Supervisor and the operational services of the residence. The Program Director is responsible for ensuring the Code of Conduct procedures in decision making and leadership qualities for day-to-day services to both staff and clients.

PRIMARY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Implement program policies and procedures to ensure program operation and service provision consistent with OMH policies and procedures.

  2. Review referral packets and conduct interviews for applicants who meet program admission criteria.

  3. Report all incidents to Agency Director of Quality Assurance and OMH/CQC via NIMRS program.

  4. Inform Associate Executive Director of incidents or potentially hazardous conditions immediately.

  5. Facilitate weekly staff meeting addressing administrative and clinical issues.

  6. Individual supervisory sessions with Program Supervisor and administrative staff with a frequency determined by the position.

  7. Develop and monitor staff schedules to meet client and program needs.

  8. Interview applicants for employment.

  9. Submit statistical reports to OMH, CAIRS, TAD, and Justice Center/NIMRS and agency main office.

  10. Available for crisis intervention twenty-four hours a day.

  11. Provide in-service training to program and agency staff as assigned by Associate Executive Director. Develop, implement, and follow through on all person-centered trainings with all staff.

  12. Participate in quarterly agency Incident Review Committee meetings.
