Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair and maintenance. This role is crucial for ensuring that all vehicles meet safety and quality standards before they are released for service. The Inspector will work closely with the automotive service team to identify issues and maintain high-quality performance across all vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their condition and identify any mechanical issues.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Document findings from inspections, including any required repairs or maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the automotive service team to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Perform vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Assist in auto body repair and restoration projects as required.
  • Lift heavy components safely and efficiently during inspections and repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in vehicle inspections.
  • Experience in vehicle maintenance, auto body repair, and auto restoration is preferred.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
