Investment Analysts are responsible for analyzing potential investment opportunities—including funds, secondaries, direct equities, and direct credits across private equity, private credit, and infrastructure—and monitoring client portfolios. Investment Analysts work closely with senior and mid-level professionals on small client and due diligence teams. 

Job Responsibilities:

Performing quantitative and qualitative reviews of potential private markets fund investmentsSupporting in-depth, rapidly moving underwriting of potential direct equity, direct credit, and secondary investmentsAnalyzing support the due diligence process, including analyzing financial statements of private markets partnerships, reviewing partnership portfolio company valuations, and assessing relative performanceParticipating in meetings with fund managersSupporting Pathway's client servicing efforts, including preparing client reports and presentationsAssisting with special reporting, research, and due diligence projects on an ad hoc basis

Qualifications:

Analytical experience in investment banking, consulting, audit, investment management, or other similar fields (including internships)A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, business economics, or related field with a record of high academic achievementA strong interest in investments and capital marketsExperience working in Microsoft ExcelStrong quantitative and analytical skillsStrong interpersonal, communication, and writing skillsAbility and desire to work in a collaborative environmentDetail-oriented, proactive, and resourcefulSelf-motivated with the ability to focus on multiple tasks and deliverables
