Your Role & Responsibilities

• Provide data architecture oversight for CIS modernization, including migration, conversion, and integration patterns
• Design and optimize data models for operational and analytical use cases aligned with Customer 360 initiatives
• Define data governance standards to ensure accuracy, minimize replication, and align systems of record
• Collaborate with database engineers to implement solutions across AWS Aurora, Databricks, and on-prem systems
• Work closely with internal teams and external vendors (Franklin, GridX) to ensure seamless data integration
• Deliver architecture artifacts and diagrams using industry-standard tools

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

• 8–10+ years of experience in data architecture and solution design
• Strong expertise in AWS native services and data lakehouse architectures
• Proficiency with Databricks and modern data platforms
• Advanced data modeling skills and experience creating data products
• Familiarity with Salesforce and/or SAP data models
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence
• Excellent communication, documentation, and diagramming skills

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience in utility, energy, or telecom industries
• Knowledge of data movement connectors and integration platforms
• Architecture certifications (AWS, TOGAF)

Education & Certifications You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Certifications are preferred but not required

• Competitive Compensation – You choose the model that works best for you, both with company-sponsored benefits $173,000–$193,000 annually or $100–$110 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and location. Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography.
