CompFlorida Inc is seeking a Part Time Level 1 Field Technician to support clients through onsite and remote technical assistance. This role is hands on and primarily focused on workstation support, basic networking issues, and end user applications.

This position is part time with variable hours based on business needs. Hours are not guaranteed. Opportunities for additional responsibility or future full time employment may be considered but are not guaranteed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform onsite troubleshooting for workstation related issues
  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems at the user and workstation level
  • Troubleshoot printers and printing related issues
  • Support Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Clean and remediate infected or compromised PCs
  • Perform basic PC optimization and cleanup tasks
  • Install, test, and troubleshoot data cabling as needed
  • Accurately document all work performed
  • Escalate issues that exceed Level 1 scope according to procedure

Approximately 75 percent of work will be workstation focused.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist with onsite evaluations for new or prospective clients
  • Observe and document client environments and technical issues
  • Communicate findings clearly to senior technical staff
  • Maintain professional conduct during all client interactions

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of Windows 10 and 11
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic PC hardware and software troubleshooting skills
  • Willingness to perform onsite field work
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to follow documented procedures
  • Professional communication skills

Preferred

  • Associate degree in IT or related field
  • A+ certification
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts

Employment Details

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 25.0 per week
