Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in Northlake. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests through attentive service, menu knowledge, and a positive attitude.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using Toast POS.
  • Provide detailed menu descriptions and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling techniques.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables promptly after guests leave.
  • Assist in training new staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Toast systems is a plus.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations is essential.
