Securitized Products Origination – Structurer

Purpose of the role

To develop and implement structured financial products and solutions to meet the needs of clients and optimize the bank's market exposure and profitability. 

Accountabilities

• Development of innovative structured financial products and solutions to address the specific needs of clients, including derivatives, structured notes, and other structured investment products.
• Risk analysis and management associated with structured products, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and bank policies.
• Assessment of pricing and valuation of structured products, including the use of mathematical models and financial instruments, and liaising with trading to ensure competitive pricing.
• Collaboration with traders, risk managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective product implementation and risk mitigation.

Join Barclays as a Securitized Products Origination – Structurer, where you will coordinate with internal and external deal teams, rating agencies, investors and accountants to execute term ABS and warehouse lending positions for the firm. Create highly detailed cashflow models, in Excel and Intex, to evaluate and optimize transaction structures. Quantify, evaluate credit risk on lending opportunities as well as prepare, and tie-out structures and documented analytics with accountants. You will also, coordinate with sales force and investor community during deal marketing and review and comment on legal documentation for term ABS and warehouse lending. 

To be successful as a Securitized Products Origination – Structurer, you should have experience with:

• End-to-end evaluation of multi-layered asset-backed securities (ABS) and asset-based lending (ABL) transactions

• Integrating advanced Excel modeling, rigorous bond math, and structured finance values to evaluate deal economics

• Optimizing capital structures, and mitigating credit risk

Some other highly valued skills may include:

• Assess and support structuring of ABS transactions across diverse asset classes

• VBA automation, and Intex analytics to evaluate deal performance

• RMBS and student loan securitizations

This role is regulated by FINRA.

Minimum Salary: $125,000

Maximum Salary: $175,000

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
