Customer Service Representative (Entry Level – Plumbing Company)

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Greenville is looking for an entry-level Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build a long-term career in the plumbing and home services industry.

Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers. You'll answer inbound calls, schedule appointments, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting our technicians and management team. This role is essential in ensuring customers receive fast, friendly, and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls promptly and follow company booking scripts
  • Schedule plumbing service appointments and dispatch technicians efficiently
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, technicians, and management
  • Enter data accurately into multiple software systems
  • Monitor scheduling platforms to ensure quick responses to service requests
  • Review invoices for accuracy and track payments
  • Create estimates for technicians as needed
  • Manage technician time, purchase orders, and receipts
  • Maintain detailed and organized service documentation
  • Assist with other administrative and support tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software
  • Reliable, professional, and coachable
  • Previous experience in customer service, dispatching, or call center work is a plus
  • No plumbing experience required — we provide full training
