Job SummaryThe Ambulatory Veterinary Aftercare Specialist is responsible for assisting with patient preparation and transportation for cremation and performing other administrative duties to support the practice.Duties· Travel to euthanasia visits to assist doctors with carrying and transporting large pets (>50lbs)· Perform visit completion for cremation visits in a timely fashion· Be readily available for all appointment slots assigned in calendar and respond to scheduled visits in a timely manner· Provide support to Associate Veterinarians by assisting with patients of all sizes to ensure their vehicles are available for others· Perform cremation care visits for pets who passed away unassisted in the home· Provide compassionate client support during cremation visits and follow-up calls· Communicate between support team, doctor team, and the client to confirm accurate client and pet information for our records via Whatsapp, text and email as needed· Enter client and pet information into the crematory portal, ensuring absolute accuracy· Transport each pet respectfully from the client's home to cool storage· Communicate updates, special requests and corrections with the crematory and support team as needed· Assist doctors with physical or vehicle limitations by attending appointments as needed· Manage social media (FB posts/ messages, google review responses)· Manage contact lists and supply promotional materials to referring practices· Perform pre-visit data entry of aftercare orders for DVMs· Assemble and supply the team with client education/ promotional materials as neededExperience/ QualificationsCandidates with veterinary or aftercare experience is preferred.Candidate must have a valid driver's license with good driving record, reliable vehicle with open rear cargo space for patient transport (i.e. SUV, station wagon, van, some hatchbacks), space and ability to maintain a designated chest freezer in a secure location at home location.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $ $20.00 per hourExpected hours: No more than 30 per weekBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insuranceWork Location: Remote
