Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and targeted marketing efforts to expand the customer base within assigned territories.
  • Manage existing accounts with a focus on nurturing relationships, upselling additional products or services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
  • Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and technical sales presentations to showcase solutions that meet client needs effectively.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory management plans to maximize coverage and sales opportunities across B2B markets.
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track customer interactions, manage pipeline activities, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that support long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that enhance brand visibility and lead generation efforts.
  • Provide detailed analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product development initiatives.
  • Coordinate with inside sales teams to ensure seamless communication and follow-up on leads or inquiries generated from various channels.
  • Deliver compelling product demos tailored to client requirements, highlighting features that drive value and support upselling opportunities.
  • Maintain thorough records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and territory developments in CRM systems for accurate reporting.

Experience

  • Proven success in outside sales roles with a focus on B2B sales environments; experience managing territories is highly preferred.
  • Strong background in management, business development, account management, and direct sales strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools for lead tracking and pipeline management.
  • Demonstrated ability in negotiation, customer service excellence, and building long-term client relationships.
  • Experience conducting product demos, technical presentations, and upselling within technology or retail sectors is advantageous.
  • Skilled in territory management, lead generation techniques including cold calling, and analysis skills to interpret market data effectively.
