Role Overview

The Senior Frontend Engineer- Web & Mobile will be responsible for developing and maintaining the user interface components and ensuring they are robust, visually appealing, and easy to use. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality, user-centric applications. You will develop functional and appealing web and mobile sites and applications with a focus on usability; ensuring websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop User Interfaces:
    Architect, code, and maintain frontend components using modern technologies and best practices to ensure high performance, usability, and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    : Work closely with backend developers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
  • Optimize and Improve Existing Interfaces:
    Continuously monitor and optimize frontend performance. Identify user experience issues and implement improvements to enhance usability and engagement.
  • Web and Mobile integration:
    communicating with clients to identify their needs, optimizing websites for different formats like desktops and mobile phones and running tests to ensure code strings perform the correct functions. Ensuring websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones.
  • Ensure Code Quality:
    Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Implement Design Best Practices:
    Ensure frontend systems adhere to design standards and guidelines, and collaborate with the design team to create cohesive and visually appealing interfaces.
  • Mentor Junior Engineers:
    Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to help them grow their technical skills and career.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    7+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on building user-centric and visually appealing interfaces. Proficiency in languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, or Angular.
  • Technical Skills:
    Deep understanding of frontend technologies, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
  • You have experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or ) and related tools.
  • You are familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • You have a strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.
  • Problem-Solving:
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaboration:
    Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability:
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
