Power's Pharmacy is a small family owned business in Browns Mills, NJ that has been in business since 1999 and has been serving the community and surrounding areas for 24 years.
We pride ourselves in providing prompt professional and courteous service to our customers, and personally knowing and caring for the health of our patients. We are family oriented and work to promote a positive and welcoming culture for employees, and are looking for a pharmacy technician to grow with our team
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and ensuring accuracy
- Prepare and package medications for patients
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Enter prescription information into the computer system
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns
- Working with cash register and provides excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) preferred
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy calculations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
-Knowledge of the Pioneer pharmacy system a plus but not necesarry
