We are hiring several Machine Operator Helpers for 1st shift - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Ideal candidates must be flexible to work OT and Weekends. Pay is $20.00 Per Hour. Full Time.

Job Summary:

CMSP is seeking dependable and motivated Production Machine Assistants to support daily manufacturing operations. This role works alongside machine operators to maintain efficient production flow, ensure product quality, and uphold a safe work environment. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, mechanically inclined, and eager to grow within a hands on production setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist machine operators with setup, monitoring, and shutdown of equipment.
  • Follow all safety and lockout/tagout procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness around machines and work areas.
  • Handle materials and load/unload parts as directed by operators or supervisors.
  • Complete basic production logs and report issues promptly.
  • Support quality checks by identifying defects or irregularities during production.
  • Move finished goods and scrap materials to designated areas using proper handling methods.
  • Contribute to meeting daily production targets through teamwork and communication.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or warehouse work preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift certification a plus but not required.
