What To ExpectTesla is looking for an experienced and motivated senior electrical designer to join our Construction Design team in Fremont, CA. The electrical design team is responsible to create and maintain CAD models of the power distribution system infrastructure and tool equipment. This position is for full-time, on-site.What You'll Do- Manage electrical Revit contents (templates and families) and Revit views- Responsible for preparing electrical permit and construction drawings: Power plan drawings, underground and aboveground raceway design drawings, grounding layout drawing, lighting layout drawings- Modeling electrical infrastructure per projects level of detail (LOD) needs; create material take-offs- Participate in design and construction phases, including schematic design, design development, construction documents and close-out- Collaborate with multi-discipline design team to deliver clash-free design and models- Perform regular field visits and collaborate with construction team to reflect construction feasibility and value engineering in design and models- Assist reviewing RFIs and submittals during construction administration phase and produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings in REVITWhat You'll Bring- 6+ years working experience in electrical infrastructure design.
