Position Overview: Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES is seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Clinical Nursing Instructor to join our Health Related Occupations Program. The successful candidate will provide clinical instruction and supervision to students training for nursing careers, enhancing their hands-on skills and professional readiness.  This position will be Monday-Thursday, from 8:20am-3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver clinical nursing instruction in accordance with program objectives.
  • Guide students through supervised clinical experiences, ensuring safe practice and professional standards.
  • Collaborate with faculty and program leadership to design and implement effective instructional plans and assessments.
  • Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records.
  • Uphold all regulatory and institutional policies related to clinical nursing education.

Qualifications:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
  • Demonstrated clinical nursing experience and the ability to instruct adult learners.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
