Essential Functions and Job Duties
Processes patients for registration and check-in for diagnostic testing.
Organizes and processes patient paperwork (i.e.; registration forms, patient orders, MRI screening forms, consent forms).
Receives and directs telephone calls.
Prioritizes time so that next day's/shift's workload is organized; updates schedules.
Maintains good relationships with patients and other employees.
Remains flexible in accepting rotating schedules.
Performs other duties as assigned. Is authorized to access contrast media.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Little or no physical effort or strenuous activity other than incidental walking, standing, bending and reaching, and carrying of light loads (1 to 15 pounds). Remains seated 75% of day.
Mental Demands

Qualifications

- Some knowledge of medical terminology; knowledge of filing systems; minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute.

Education and/or Other Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent. One or two years of clerical experience in scheduling and communications preferred.
