Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Navarre. This is a full-time, in-center position with emphasis on being available to RBTs for support during their direct sessions, as needed. As a BCBA at The Village ABA, you are expected to be a leader and to lead by example. Providing compassionate care to both clients and staff are priority. In this position, the BCBA will provide high-quality behavioral therapy services to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and supervising behavior technicians to ensure fidelity of programming. Direct care with clients may be required, as needed, but is not ideal for analysts as the primary focus for our analysts is supervision of staff and clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis (ABA), experience working with children and individuals with disabilities, knowledge of PFA/SBT and Verbal Behavior Development Theory as well as CABAS, and a commitment to patient care and high ethical standards. The BCBA will play a vital role in improving client outcomes through evidence-based interventions and collaborative care. Knowledge of PFA/SBT and experience implementing programming for learners to develop Verbal Behavioral Development Theory cusps is a plus Successful history of implementing social skills programing to a group of learners (ages 7-12) is a plus Must be open to learning PFA/SBT, Verbal Behavior Development Theory and other programming as determined is needed by our Clinical Lead Analyst.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles.
  • Collect and analyze data to track progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
  • Supervise and train behavior technicians, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and ethical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, intake forms, and treatment records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Ensure all interventions are delivered with compassion, patience, and respect for client dignity.
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development related to behavioral health, special education, and diagnostic evaluation.
  • Uphold confidentiality standards related to medical records and patient information while managing sensitive data securely.

Qualifications

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, data collection methods, and patient assessment procedures.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Background in special education or behavioral health is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with clients, families, healthcare teams, and educators.
  • Ability to perform behavioral health assessments and conduct intake evaluations effectively.
