Schedule:

  • Every other Friday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Every other Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

(First scheduled weekend: October 24–25; following weekend: November 7–8, alternating thereafter.)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, patient-focused Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team on an alternating weekend schedule. This position supports both retail and long-term care (LTC) pharmacy operations, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely medication dispensing for our community and facility partners.

LTC experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions in compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  • Support both retail and LTC workflows, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent patient care.
  • Review medication profiles for interactions, contraindications, and therapeutic duplications.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and facility nursing staff to ensure continuity of care.
  • Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians to maintain proper workflow and compliance.
  • Contribute to quality-assurance initiatives and maintain audit readiness.
  • Provide counseling and clinical support consistent with company standards and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Pharmacist License in good standing.
  • LTC experience preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with FrameworkLTC or Rx30 pharmacy systems a plus, but training available.
  • Excellent communication, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently during scheduled shifts in a hybrid LTC/retail environment.
