We are currently seeking an exceptional Patient Services Specialist / Front Desk Specialist to join our growing dermatology practice family, serving patients across Carrollton, Newnan, and Peachtree City, Georgia.
With over 25 years of experience, our practice has grown to include 5 board-certified physicians and 16 total providers, offering top-tier dermatologic care across all three locations. We are proud of our warm, collegial, and family-like culture, and we're looking for professional, friendly, adaptable, and team-oriented individuals to join our front desk teams.

Position Details
- Job Type: Full-time, with benefits
- Locations: Carrollton, Newnan, or Peachtree City, Georgia (based on hiring needs)
- Experience: Customer service and medical systems experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
Answer phones in a friendly, approachable, and helpful manner
Greet patients and family members with a smile, helping them feel welcome and at ease for their appointments
Provide courteous, respectful, and accurate information about practice services and appointment instructions
Perform patient registration and basic insurance verification, ensuring collection of essential data for billing
Identify and update patient demographic and insurance information
Communicate with patients and physicians regarding insurance coverage, including non-participating or out-of-network plans
Ensure lab services align with the patient's insurance
Obtain copies of insurance cards and confirm insurance through online tools or other verification methods
Collect co-pays, co-insurance, or deductibles at the time of service
Prepare and scan documents into the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Obtain necessary patient signatures for consent to treat
Assist with resolving patient account balances
Maintain front desk inventory of supplies, forms, and materials
Copy or fax documents to other healthcare providers as needed
- Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Prior medical office or customer service experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Positive, collaborative, team-player attitude
