Provide support to the CCO including: greeting students and visitors to the office, answering questions regarding services and resources, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone and directing calls, responding to CCO emails, entering opportunities and data into Handshake, distributing posters and flyers around campus, collecting and distributing mail to the CCO staff, typing documents, photocopying, and running campus errands, as needed. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with programs and events, creating new resources, conducting research on employers, gathering data and information to be used for materials, posting to CCO social media outlets (Facebook and Instagram), and designing flyers and other marketing materials. Follow the department's social media schedule and develop, post, and update content for Facebook, Instagram, and Handshake. Use Canva to design and create engaging social media posts, graphics, and promotional materials that align with department branding and messaging. Create short videos and other digital materials to promote events, programs, and student achievements. Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments/messages, and track analytics to improve performance. Assist with planning and coverage of department events (e.g., taking photos, live posting, collecting testimonials).
