Your Role as a Tax Associate In this position, you'll leverage your skills and build unmatched expertise while enjoying diverse and rewarding projects. You'll have the opportunity to:

• Prepare basic to complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, not for profit and more.
• Work on tax projections, amended returns, employee benefit plans, property tax refunds, and payroll compliance strategies.
• Dive into various tax programs with a foundational understanding of tax law.
• Work side-by-side with experienced partners, directors, and managers to sharpen your skills.
• Begin preparing for the CPA exam and set yourself up for long-term professional success.

Qualifications We're Looking For: We want driven, detail-oriented problem solvers who can communicate effectively and love working in a team-oriented environment. Key traits include:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related fields such as Finance, Business, or Economics.
• At least 2-3 year of accounting experience (tax-related experience preferred working in a public accounting firm preferred)
• Eagerness to work overtime during peak seasons
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• A passion for growth and professional improvement
• Authorization to work in the United States

At our firm, we're looking for candidates who are fully authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming dedicated professionals to our team

Olsen Thielen offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to reward performance and recognize your value to the firm. The starting salary range for this role is $67,000.00 based on factors like experience, qualifications, and organizational needs. Compensation also includes a bonus structure and eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program. Pay will be prorated based on the seasonal workload.
