Overview:

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining a company's information technology systems, ensuring that networks, hardware, and software operate efficiently and securely. They manage IT staff and initiatives to support organizational goals and drive technological innovation.

Responsibilities:

These responsibilities/functions may include but are not limited to the following:

· Manage and maintain the organization's IT systems, networks, and hardware/software infrastructure.

· Ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance with internal and external regulations.

· Oversee troubleshooting, upgrades, and installations of IT systems and applications.

· Supervise and mentor IT support staff.

· Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide professional development opportunities.

· Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT initiatives with business goals.

· Identify opportunities for technology improvements and innovation.

· Lead projects related to system upgrades, migrations, and digital transformation.

· Develop and manage the IT department's annual budget.

· Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effective use of resources.

· Lead the implementation and support of AI-driven tools for automation, analytics, and user support.

· Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.

· Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

· Learn and understand the importance of effective communication.

· Learn and understand the importance of customer relations.

Required Competencies/Skills

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Ability to multitask

· Exceptional attention to detail

· Strong knowledge of network architecture, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.

· Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking, lifting, bending & carrying heavy weighted materials (up to 80 lbs)

· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

· Proven experience managing departmental budgets and vendor relationships.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Willingness to take initiative and accept responsibility for assigned tasks

· Experience with MS Office and ability to learn company-specific programs and software

· Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or ITIL are a plus.

· Two years of supervisory experience is preferred

· Five years of experience in IT administration is required

This role is critical to ensuring the effective operation, security, and reliability of the company's IT infrastructure. By leveraging expertise in network architecture, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems, the position safeguards organizational data and supports business continuity. Additionally, the role contributes to efficient departmental management through budgeting, vendor coordination, and leadership responsibilities, all of which are essential for maintaining a productive and secure work environment.

Pay: $75, $90,000.00 per year
