Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on and motivated Production Lead to coordinate daily production activities and serve as the primary point of contact between operators and management. The Production Lead will help ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency on the floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct a team of production workers to meet daily schedules and output goals.

  • Monitor operations to ensure products are manufactured to specifications and quality standards.

  • Assign tasks, train new employees, and provide ongoing guidance to team members.

  • Serve as a liaison between production staff and supervisors/managers.

  • Identify and resolve minor operational issues or escalate them when needed.

  • Assist with documentation, shift reports, and inventory counts.

  • Support implementation of lean practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

  • Previous experience in a lead or team coordinator role is preferred.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Basic computer skills (e.g., for reporting and inventory tracking).

  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.

Work Environment:

  • Factory or production floor setting.

  • Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).

  • Use of PPE is mandatory; adherence to safety standards is critical.
