  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
  • Proficient in Java, with hands-on experience using Java Swing for GUI development.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins (or equivalent).
  • Sound understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, Java memory model, and multi-threading/concurrency basics.
  • Experience working with web services / RESTful APIs (design, consumption, integration).
  • Working knowledge of relational database technologies (SQL) and interacting with databases from Java applications.
  • Comfortable participating in the full software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, implementation, unit/integration testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN and/or Git.
  • Ability to write clean, reusable, efficient, maintainable code following best practices.
  • Ability to function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and be willing/able to obtain the required security clearance.
