Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests, ensuring a smooth flow of service
  • Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety standards
  • Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and courteously, enhancing guest satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness in all dining areas, including floors, countertops, and service stations
  • Support kitchen staff by handling food handling tasks as needed and ensuring proper sanitation procedures are followed
  • Help with basic food prep or catering setup when required to support overall restaurant operations
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and address any immediate needs

Requirements

  • Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key
  • Strong cleaning skills with an eye for detail to uphold hygiene standards
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and guests
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or moving supplies comfortably
  • Knowledge of food handling safety procedures is a plus but can be provided during training
  • A positive attitude with a proactive approach to supporting the team in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in hotel or food industry settings is advantageous but not mandatory
