Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer to join our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in web and application development, with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects utilizing cutting-edge tools and frameworks, including Java, JavaScript, React, and RESTful APIs. The successful applicant will contribute to building scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions that support our business objectives. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, as well as version control systems like GitHub and SVN, is essential. Candidates should be comfortable working within Agile environments and possess a solid foundation in IT infrastructure, database management, and API integration.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Java, JavaScript, React, and related technologies.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs to ensure seamless communication between front-end interfaces and back-end services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms such as RBAC to protect application data.
  • Manage version control using GitHub, SVN, and other tools to ensure code integrity and facilitate team collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain database schemas using MySQL, SQL Server, or similar systems; optimize queries for performance.
  • Work with cloud services such as AWS and Azure to deploy, monitor, and scale applications effectively.
  • Participate in Agile development cycles including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Write clean, efficient code adhering to best practices in software development standards.
  • Troubleshoot bugs and perform debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing and deployment.

Experience

  • Proven experience in full-stack application development with a focus on Java-based technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React or Angular for web development.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and integration across various platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments including AWS or Azure for application deployment.
  • Proficiency in version control systems like GitHub or SVN; experience with Git workflows is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components relevant to software deployment and maintenance.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies in fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Python, C#, C++, VBA, or .NET is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Background in database management using MySQL or SQL Server; ability to write optimized queries is essential.
  • Exposure to application security practices including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
