How do you excel in this position

We are seeking an experienced Boiler Service Technician. If you have outstanding customer service skills and the ability to start up, troubleshoot, provide maintenance and safe operation of boiler equipment and associated system components we want to talk to you The Boiler Service Technician is responsible for executing field service activities, including preventative maintenance, inspections, start-ups, and emergency repairs, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of systems according to design specifications and customer requirements.

What are we looking for

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in painting or related fields are a plus.
  • Five (5) years of directly related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in the construction or HVAC industry, including but not limited to boilers, burners, controls, and psychometrics
  • Demonstrated knowledge in control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems
  • Knowledge of HVAC&R theory, solid mechanical, electrical troubleshooting, and repair skills
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, mechanical layouts, and blueprints
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld devices such as Smartphones, iPads, ect.
