About The Role
Identifies, prioritizes, and ensures delivery of key internal projects in collaboration with project stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Leverages extensive project management experience and deep understanding of project management principles and tools.
  • Demonstrates strong process improvement skills, proficiency with project management tools and a solid understanding of digital workflows.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Engages cross-functional teams, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and integration, effective communication and delivers on project goals.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Track progress and adjust plans as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for projects during implementation.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including technical, operational, and client-facing staff.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and resolve conflicts.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions during implementation.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Provide detailed reports for internal stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure smooth handoff to leadership, support or account management teams post-implementation.

Skills Needed

  • deep expertise and experience with project management fundamentals, and significant experience leading large scale projects
  • Experience managing projects in internal or operational settings, ideally within corporate or consulting environments to plan and execute project plan and deliverables.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
  • Bachelor's degree in business, or related field.
  • Certifications like PMP, CAPM, or PMI are preferred.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in a broker/consultant, carrier, TPA or employee benefits environment
