Judge Direct Placement is working with a growing manufacturer in the
Lebanon, IN
area seeking a
Maintenance Supervisor
for their
3rd shift
operations. This is a critical, hands-on leadership role focused on keeping our automated production lines running smoothly. You'll lead their maintenance team, manage all equipment repairs, and drive strategies to eliminate downtime in our high-speed facility.
This is a Sunday night - Friday morning 11p-7a shift.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Team: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, promoting a culture of safety, urgency, and accountability across all shifts.
  • Maximize Uptime: Develop and rigorously manage our Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to stop breakdowns before they happen. Your primary goal is to minimize downtime and boost line efficiency.
  • Expert Troubleshooting: Serve as the hands-on expert in quickly troubleshooting and resolving complex failures involving PLCs, robotics, 480V electrical systems, hydraulics, and high-speed mechanical equipment.
  • Problem Solving: Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major equipment failures to find the source of repeated problems and implement permanent fixes.
  • Work Management: Prioritize and schedule all maintenance tasks using our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), coordinating closely with production to align on planned downtime.
  • Safety Champion: Ensure strict adherence to all OSHA standards and company safety protocols, with an absolute focus on Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Resource Management: Manage our critical spare parts inventory and control maintenance spending, tracking key metrics like uptime and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair).

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in industrial maintenance, including 2+ years leading a team in a high-speed production or highly automated setting.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong skills in both electrical (PLCs, 480V, schematics) and mechanical (hydraulics, pneumatics, advanced troubleshooting) systems.
  • System Skills: Proven experience using a CMMS platform for work order management and data analysis.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and hold a technical team accountable in a high-pressure, 24/7 environment.
  • Availability: Must be able to manage a schedule that supports 24/7 operations, including emergency response when required.
