Duties

  • Safely operate a large van.
  • Load and unload items using equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, ensuring proper handling of all cargo.
  • Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction upon delivery.
  • Verify delivery accuracy, obtain signatures, and complete all necessary documentation accurately.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after each shift.
  • Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered on route.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Bilingual required
  • Ability to lift heavy items safely during load & unload operations; physical strength is essential.
  • Experience operating pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Knowledge of route driving and navigation tools to optimize deliveries.
  • Adhering to safety protocols at all times.
