  • Take care of boarding pets; cleaning, giving meds, feeding, exercising
  • Assist veterinarian in providing medical care to animals
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Assist with prepping animals for surgery
  • Assist Dr & RVT with routine medical care

Requirements:

-Ability to maintain a professional work environment with clients and co-workers

- Experience working as a veterinary technician preferred but not required

- Knowledge of animal husbandry and basic veterinary procedures preferred

- Proficiency in handling and restraining animals, particularly dogs preferred

- Ability to administer medications

- Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners and veterinary staff
