SAP MM Consultant - Materials Management | Casa Grande, AZ

Transform materials management and procurement operations for a luxury electric vehicle manufacturer by configuring and implementing SAP MM solutions that optimize supply chain efficiency and support next-generation automotive production.

About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to support our client's implementation and optimization initiatives in the premium electric vehicle manufacturing sector. This contract role offers the opportunity to work directly with business stakeholders, design end-to-end materials management processes, and deliver SAP MM solutions integrated with EDI, PP, Finance, and SD modules.

Key Responsibilities:


• Work directly with clients to gather business needs and lead SAP MM configuration and implementation
• Actively participate in design, business requirements gathering, and Go Live of implementation projects
• Perform analysis and consultation to identify business issues, solution requirements, and benefits realization
• Configure SAP MM processes including procurement, inventory management, and vendor management
• Design and implement EDI integrations for materials management transactions
• Ensure cross-functional integration with Production Planning (PP), Finance (FI/CO), and Sales & Distribution (SD)
• Apply product knowledge and business process expertise to improve customer satisfaction
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of SAP MM modeling standards and best practices
• Support system design, development, and ongoing operational support with sense of urgency
• Maintain accurate project tracking and time entries in JIRA
• Attend project planning, departmental, and company meetings
• Maintain professional interaction with customers and team members throughout project lifecycle

Requirements:


•
Proven SAP MM consulting experience with full implementation lifecycle

• Strong expertise in SAP MM configuration (procurement, inventory, vendor management)
•
EDI integration experience for materials management transactions

• Deep knowledge of cross-functional integration with PP, Finance (FI/CO), and SD modules
• Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and translate into technical solutions
• Experience with Go Live activities and post-implementation support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with JIRA for project tracking and time management
• Automotive or manufacturing industry experience highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong sense of urgency and accountability for deliverables
